S-BOS3 Introduction and Supported Model

4. The Type-C circuitry in MacBooks utilizes 5V-to-20V voltage boost process; corruption of the USB-C ROM data will result in the motherboard receiving only 5V of power.
5. When MacBook motherboard receives only 5V of power—characterized by the current repeatedly cycling on and off—it indicates that the USB-C ROM data is corrupted.
6. Use the S-BOS3 tool to write the corresponding ROM data for the specific model, thereby restoring the motherboard's power supply to its normal 20V boosted state.
